Privacy Policy

Aura TV is a player for user-provided playlists and source credentials. It does not include channels, broadcaster accounts, or a first-party content catalog. This policy explains how the app handles information needed for playback, library continuity, and optional Apple-service integration.

Information the app can access

Playlist URLs, M3U files, Xtream-compatible credentials, and optional guide URLs that you choose to add
Favorites, watch history, continue-watching state, recent searches, and preferences used inside the app
Optional camera access when you choose to scan a QR code
Optional local-network access when you choose QR-based transfer between your own devices

How data is used

The app uses the information above only to import your sources, organize your library, enable playback, and support optional transfer or sync features.

Aura TV does not require a first-party account for its core playback flow.

Storage and security

Xtream-compatible passwords are stored in the iOS keychain.
Those keychain entries are not synced via iCloud Keychain.
Other library and preference data is stored locally and may sync through iCloud / CloudKit when Apple sync is enabled on your devices.

iCloud and Apple services

Aura TV may use iCloud / CloudKit for playlist metadata, favorites, watch history, and preferences across your Apple devices. If you disable iCloud on the device, sync-related behavior may change.

Sharing and tracking

We do not sell your personal data, and the audited codebase used for this submission package does not include third-party advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
